The Body Shop Honey & Oat 3-in-1 mask claims to cleanse, polish and moisturize in one with oatmeal grains and community trade organic honey. It is meant for normal/dry skin.It is to be used once or twice a week.I bought it for just 13$ (for 100ml) from Rinku Town, Osaka on 70% discount.
The mask is gooey and soft in texture, spreads easily.Only a little product is required. It has chunky oat brans which looks like porridge to me!!
It smells of oatmeal and honey which I kinda like!!
The mask is to be applied to clean skin and to be left for 5-10 minutes. But I generally leave it on for 15-20 minutes(in the hope of better results). It stings a little when applied but the stinging goes after 5 minutes. The mask does not dry so there is no tight feeling.
It moisturises well.Infact my skin feels smooth, glowing and moisturised for next 2-3 days. But I am disappointed with the scrubbing particles as they are way too soft to perform any scrubbing at all!!So I generally exfoliate and then apply it as a moisture mask(my skin is oily but tends to go towards dry side during winters).
I have been using it for quite some time now, twice a week but I don’t see any reduction in my pores or pimple marks. It is just a good (but expensive) moisturizing mask which leaves the skin soft.Just don’t expect anything more!!
Will I purchase it again??Hell no!!I prefer investing in a high-end moisturizer instead!!
