It gives volume and thickness, separates lashes, gives lengthening effect and stays on all day! It is the perfect solution for natural looking beautiful eyes. Maybelline claims that “Its instant volume building express formula quickly thickens lashes. Its patented curved anti-clump brush separates lashes. It has curly fix formula that fixes and curls up lashes instantly.” I got it from India for Rs. 175 in color ‘Very Black’. It comes in too variations – Ultra water proof and Easy wash, I have the later one. It has a nice formula, neither too thick nor too dry. Also it does not get too hard on drying like some other mascaras. It stays on and actually holds up curls all day. It doesn’t smudge all day, or feel heavy on lashes or weigh them down! It comes off easily and nicely with makeup remover. It gives me longer and darker lashes with a natural effect in 2 coats, but you can definitely build it up for more volume and thickness. It gets kind of clumpy after 2 coats but I like that clumpy spidery look. It has a curled band, so you can skip curling your lashes. Only downside I see is that it might be difficult to apply on your lower lashes because of curly wand, but not a problem for me as I always skip applying mascara on my lower lashes as I feel kind of made up when I do that. Am I weird? I love all Maybelline mascaras and this one is no different. Definitely getting it again.
