Here I’m, wearing my warm and comfy quilted jacket from Zara which I got last year.Actually its still not that cold in Osaka but since we went to Koyasan on Sunday..I turned into a tent(anything to keep myself warm)!!Mt.Koya is a World Heritage Site located in a 800 metres high valley amid the 8 peaks of the mountain. It is the world headquarters of the Shingon sect of Japanese Buddhism. It is a small town with temples and shrines and one of the best places to experience a temple lodging(shukubo) where you can get a taste of a monk’s lifestyle, eating vegetarian monk’s cuisine and attending the morning prayer. We stayed there for few hours but covered almost all the major temples and admired the colour change. We could not find anything interesting to eat there so just had coffee and sandwiches and came back to Namba where we had a good dinner of Nabemono(Japanese hot-pot) before heading back home!!
