I love shopping. There is a little bit of magic found in buying something new. It is like ice cream. There’s always room for more!
But, I always questioned myself, if I could ever really enjoy online shopping as much as I liked shopping in the “real-world”.
Think about it, in the real world, I would be going out, dressed for the occasion , soaking in the sights and sounds, enjoying a glass of wine, a nibble here and a bite there, window shopping, trying out new stuff…

You know, when I shop, the world gets better, and the world is better, but then it’s not, and I need to do it again!
While shopping online meant, stuck in the confines of my room, pouring over tons of web pages selling everything except for that one particular thing that I want & when I did find it – there would be additional considerations – is the seller reliable, will it fit, should I go for the lavender pink or the carnation pink (all pinks are not the same).

I did give online shopping a try, taking small baby steps initially, being a bit hesitant, unsure, and finding my way and wow – was I living under a rock – online shopping opened up a whole new world, with so many possibilities – now I am hooked, I am so addicted even when faced with some of the hiccups in my online shopping experience such as:
Paying customs duty even for just a few clothing items. The hassle of returning unwanted items – the long walk to the post office, explaining stuff in my limited Japanese! Thank God for Google Translate!
And to top it off, waiting for 3 months to finally see the refund in my bank account, after several urgent emails to the customer care! I march on, there is no turning back – online shopping it is, for me!

Sometimes the questions are complicated and the answers are simple.
