Japan to me is not only the land of the rising sun amongst many other things but is also the land of the ‘Kawaii’ or all things cute, stuff that make your heart go all mush & mellow!!This national aspect has spawned an industry which combines smooth Japanese efficiency with ‘Kawaisa’.My 1.5 years in Japan has got me hook line and sinker into this Kawaii sub culture and my new obsession, my raison d’etre is procurement of everything that scores high on this scale.My selected partner in this endeavor is the web giant Rakuten Ichiba.These guys are really big featuring more than 100 million products, no wonder they are the biggest e-commerce site in Japan and (drumrolls…) the worlds largest by sales. This partnership of mine is going to continue even when one day I will need to say sayonara as I pursue my dreams on another shore in a land far-far away, because they ship internationally.So I can continue to indulge myself with all things that are exclusive to Japan like the clothes, shoes, knick knacks, jewelry, watches, music, movies, electronics, cosmetics..Did I get carried away?My list is endless..but hey I am just a girl… in this Kawaii World!! Ps.I soon see myself slowly immersing into Hello Kitty and the world of Japanese anime…Also available on Rakuten Ichiba…Kawaii ne!!
