DHC is a Japanese skin care company.Q10 is a product line of DHC.Q10 is a powerful free-radical fighting super anti-oxidant co-enzyme.It is skin’s own natural age defender.
DHC claims “Say good bye to imperfections of tone and texture, including dark circles when you use this anti-oxidant rich primer. When applied under the make-up, cosmetics go on smoother and last longer.”It is suitable for all skin types.

DHC Q10 Moisture Care Color Base is the fIrst primer I purchased.I didn’t know that time that it is better to use a colourless primer. This one is slight pinkish in color and more product makes the skin looks pink whereas I prefer yellow undertones.
It comes in two shades:Apricot(warms pales complexion) and Beige(balances un-even skin tone).I have Apricot simply because it is the darker of the two.It comes in a squeeze tube of 30 gms for 12$.It has SPF 22.I had some free points on my Namba Parks point card so actually I picked it up from DHC store there without paying anything!!

It is a nice smooth cream. It covers my slight imperfections and also acts as a good make-up base .It smoothens out my skin.It gets absorbed really well by the skin.It is more like a tinted moisturiser.I can wear it on its own if I am going to get groceries. But I need to use the concealer if I want to cover my dark circles and pimples.
It did not increase the longevity of my make-up.Infact as these days it’s very hot and humid I see my make-up melting at places. My nose also becomes shiny in-spite of using this.
I think it is just an extra layer on the skin without any actual purpose. Will not re-purchase!!

This looks lovely, I’m still searching for a good BB cream like this, but the versions here in the UK all leave my super pale skin a funny colour! I hear the Japanese brands are amazing for bases for pale skin though, might have to look at getting some shipped over!

I got so excited when I started reading…. too bad it doesn’t work that well in the humidity. That’s the time when we need our makeup to stay on the most!
