Things to do in Osaka:Mint Museum April 25, 2013 Here are some pictures from my visit to Mint Museum few days back.Mint museum is a Government agency in Osaka responsible for the supply of coins and medals. It has around 300 cherry blossom trees in its premises.Every year it opens the gates of it’s cherry garden for the public for one week..generally during the last week of April. It is heavily gaurded and the traffic is one way.It is super crowded but there is no pushing as Japanese people are very courteous. You can stop and click pictures but cannot eat or drink or have picnic under the tree. But don’t worry there are hundreds of food stalls running parallel to the garden with plenty of stalls and many types of food and drinks to choose from!!Definitely a must visit if you wanna see the late bloomers!!
