Japan is famous for its cherry blossom or sakura as they say in Japanese. The flowers open as white, tinged with palest pink, specially near the stem but changes color to pink over the course of a few days!!They bloom and usually fall within a week.Sadly I was not here during the full bloom but I still managed to see a few left overs @ Osaka Castle last week.It is one of the Osaka’s most popular hanami spot during the cherry blossom season. And to complement the pretty pink of the flowers I pulled out my old (but still a fav) pink Zara cardigan…what say??
