K–Beauty brand Peripera claims, “Peri ‘s Ink Velvet is a lip stain with a unique formula that helps color and moisture last longer. It provides high-intensity hue that doesn’t dry out your lips; long-lasting formula stays vivid for at least 6 hours; nourishes and moisturizes with marine collagen, hyaluronic acid, organic jojoba oil, olive oil, and Amica extract; whipped texture leaves a soft powdery finish velvety-smooth statement lips.”

Ingredients:

This lip stain contains Hyaluronic acid that holds moisture to keep away dryness, marine collagen that penetrates into lips to plump it up and reduce fine lines, lastly organic jojoba oil that moisturizes and creates a protective barrier to balance out the hydration level.

Price:

$7 – $8 for 8gms of product

Texture:

It has velvety, almost whipped-like mousse texture so it is very hydrating and applies evenly. It doesn’t spill like some liquid lipsticks I have tried in the past. It has a good consistency – not too thick or not too watery. Even though it has a matte texture, it doesn’t dry my lips and feels incredibly light when applied.

Packaging:

I’ll admit that the first Peripera lip stain I bought was because of the cute little ink dropper bottle packaging. The plastic bottle is so adorable, very pretty and unique. The color of the bottle also matches the shade color. The doe applicator distributes the product evenly so the application is seamless.

Final thoughts on Peripera Peri’s Ink the Velvet:

Peri’s Ink the Velvet line is actually a line of tints. But these tints are different from your usual tints because the consistency is so creamy and velvety. It’s also super pigmented and lasts quite long. The colors are vivid and are so unique with a good color pay off. One coat is enough for the lips. It is not transfer proof because I see lip marks whenever I drink something. But even though it transfers, or the lipstick wears off, it stains the lips so well that I see it even after washing my face and sometimes even the next day! Some people might find it hard to remove, even with oil-based cleansers!

I started with one and now I have collected four of these Peripera Ink Velvet lip stains. They are so smooth and creamy on lips – that it is just so easy to them. The color is pigmented and long-lasting that there is no need to reapply often. And the best part is that they come in 15 colors!
